Centrifugal Based filters

A centrifugal-based filter is a filtration device that uses centrifugal force to separate particles or molecules from a solution. The sample is placed in a filter unit and spun at high speed in a centrifuge, causing particles to either collect at the bottom or pass through a membrane. This method is commonly used to concentrate samples, remove contaminants, or separate biological macromolecules—such as proteins or nucleic acids—from solvents.
